Junior Development at Tetbury
Phoebe Bray [Hodges] first discovered bowls through an after-school short mat bowls session held on Mondays at her school. Inspired by her Grampy, who already plays bowls for Tetbury, Phoebe was keen to find out more about the sport.
Although she was initially a little shy during her first session, encouragement and support from the coaches helped her gain confidence and give bowls a try. Following this introduction, Phoebe was invited to attend the junior coaching sessions on Sunday mornings at Tetbury Bowls Club.
